Visibility

  • Directory: The most comprehensive business guide in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase area is our annual Membership Directory & Community Guide with a circulation of 18,000. All members receive two listings and have exclusive opportunities for advertising. In addition, our online directory lists all of our members and is used constantly as a resource for finding local businesses.
  • New members: Companies who join the Chamber receive 5 immediate highlights: a listing linked to your website on the front page of our website for 1 month, a listing in our newsletter sent to 4,000 emails, a report to our Board of Directors and individualized posts on Facebook and twitter, each linked to your social media.
  • Online Directory: All members receive a listing in our online directory with contact information and a direct link to your website, as well as options to enhance your listing with a logo and description.
  • Members in the News: Members have the opportunity to feature the latest happenings, events and media coverage for their business on our website with potential for exposure on our social media outlets and newsletter.
  • Ribbon Cuttings: Members who open a new business, expand, or relocate can partner with the Chamber to host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, with built-in publicity and invitations to community leaders.

Networking

  • Quick Connect: The third Thursday of the month from 8:00-9:00 am at the Chamber, this one-hour overview is for new members, those interested in membership and those looking to get more involved.  Come to learn, make new connections and meet members of the Board.
  • Chamber Thursdays: Join us on any of the first 3 Thursdays of each month for a great networking event. First Thursday is Breakfast at 7:45am, Second Thursday is After Hours at 5:00pm, and Third Thursday is Lunch at 12:00pm, all will be held at various member locations. 
  • Committees: Members can participate in active committees focusing on topics such as Economic Development, Membership, Senior Marketing, Real Estate Development and NextExecs for young professionals.
  • Business Forum and Showcase: Featuring an exhibit hall, seminars, round-table discussion, networking luncheon with keynote speaker and much more!

Build Business 

  • Advocate for Business: The Chamber is the voice of the local business community at the local, county and state levels, promoting economic development and actively supporting small-business legislation.
  • Member-to-Member Discounts: Members can offer a discount on services to employees of fellow members. The result is an increased customer-base as well as increased visibility as we promote these discounts on our website, newsletter and event flyers.
  • Business Referrals:  The Chamber receives countless inquiries regarding businesses and services in the area and we only refer to Chamber members.
  • Marketing Tools: Opportunities to purchase mailing labels for all Chamber members, advertising in our email newsletter, The ChamberWatch, or dedicated email blasts. 
  • Meeting Room: The EagleBank Board Room at the Chamber office is free for member use as needed.
