Dlhopolsky Named Chair-Elect of Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber

Heather Dlhopolsky has been selected Chair-Elect of The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce. She will assume this role at the Chamber’s installation luncheon on June 16, 2014, and will take on the role of Chair in July 2014.

The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1926. Since then, the organization has grown to more than 600 businesses located throughout the Bethesda-Chevy Chase area and beyond. The Chamber works to achieve a thriving Montgomery County and greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase region by supporting efforts to strengthen economic vitality, improve competitiveness, attract new businesses, residents and nonprofits while retaining existing ones, and recognize the business community’s contributions to the quality of life in our County and region.

The Chamber focuses on issues of importance to the business community such as economic development, land use and transportation, public health and safety, cultural enrichment, and environmental awareness.
