Through the involvement of our own “in-house” lobbyist, the Chamber meets regularly with local and state legislators in Montgomery County and in Annapolis to discuss issues affecting our community. And the Chamber leadership and staff are always available to answer questions or listen to your concerns on the latest issues.

The Chamber sponsors many formal and informal events where members may meet and share experiences. These include the Business After Hours, Monthly Member Luncheons, Power Networking Breakfasts, and Smart Business Seminars, as well as special events including the Annual Golf Classic, the Business & Tech Expo, Annual Installation & Awards Dinner, and the Fall Event -- Celebrate!

The Chamber offers members a chance to market their businesses. The ChamberNews, the monthly publication of the Chamber, regularly features practical information in a variety of fields from Chamber members. Advertising in both the ChamberNews, Membership Directory & Business Referral Guide,and Website at affordable prices. Circulation: 1,100 newsletters monthly - 10,000 directories yearly.

Quarterly Chamber business seminars present valuable information on marketing, computer use, web site, tax policy and other timely topics.

Mailing List
Available to Chamber members - $80.00 fee and non-members - $300.00 fee for Chamber membership mailing list on pressure sensitive lables.

Broadcast Fax
Availible to Chamber members ONLY. Cost of Broadcast Fax is $150.00. A one-page fax to all Chamber members. Reach over 800 members over the cource of a 24 hour period with your message. Must be pre-paid.

Referrals
Make business contacts with without leaving your office! Your Chamber is working for you everyday. The chamber receives hundreds of calls per month requesting business services and ONLY Chamber members are referred.

Members in The News
Keep fellow Chamber members informed about your business by sending, faxing, or e-mailing a press release along with photo to the Chamber office to be placed in the ChamberNews.

Member-to-Member Discount Program
Provide a discount to fellow Chamber members at no additional Cahrge to be distributed at all Chamber events.

An Opportunity to Make a Difference
Committees and task forces are the backbone of the Chamber's efforts for members. By becoming members, businesses have an opportunity to influence the Chamber's Program of Action and make a diffrence in the Bethesda, Chevy Chase, North Bethesda, and Friendship Heights business community for their businesses, their employees and their community.

Conference Room
Our conference room is available on a space available basis to Chamber members at no additional charge. Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance. Coffee service can be provided at a fee.

Notary Service
Free service for all Chamber members.
