The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce, Montgomery County's oldest Chamber of Commerce, seeks an experienced Executive Director to manage and direct day-to-day operations of the Chamber, with responsibility for executive, administrative, and financial management, membership services and recruitment, marketing, community development, public relations and government affairs. Job responsibility also includes strategic planning and program development and implementation, including managing monthly membership functions and special events, including an annual business exposition, periodic business seminars, networking activities and social functions. Requires minimally a bachelor's degree and at least five years of similar management experience. Characteristics and credentials of qualified candidates should also include proven effective leadership with volunteers and staff, outstanding written and verbal communication skills and experience in marketing and public relations.
