Committees Connect for the Community
Time: 7:30am
Semi-annual blood drive, old computer collection and old cell phone collection to be held at B-CC Rescue Squad parking lot from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm. Inova bloodmobile sponsored by the Community Development Committee, old computer collections sponsored by the Tech Committee for donation to Montgomery College and 2nd District Police is collecting old cell phones for 911 programming.

The "Pillars of Small Business Success" is a tool that enables small business owners to quickly assess their current business practices and determine whether they are on the path to success or ignoring critical elements that will cause their business to stall. This presentation will teach participants about this tool and how to use it. They will have an opportunity to use "The Pillars" during the session and see how it can be used to create a plan for their business development. Participants will also learn how to keep their businesses in the context of a happy life.

How to assess your business activities to ensure continued business development
How to get an overall view of where you are going in your business
How to develop action plans in line with your goals
How to move toward balance and satisfaction in your life
This exciting "Smart Business Seminar" is free of charge to members of the Chamber ($10 for non-members) and will be presented on June 19, 2003 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. in the Chamber's Board Room.
