Supervision and management are difficult functions at best, but when individuals aren't performing or the organization is under internal or environmental pressures, the job can become a nightmare. It is then that a systematic process for coaching, reviewing and developing action steps is critical. Topics will include how to:
Use coaching and feedback
Reinforce desired behaviors and modify undesirable ones
Create a performance management system
Develop a relationship environment when coaching
Keep coaching and review sessions from becoming emotional
This exciting "Smart Business Seminar" is free of charge to members of the Chamber ($10 for non-members) and will be presented on April 17, 2003 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. in the Chamber's Board Room.
