The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce Hosts Montgomery County’s Largest Annual Trade Show

Montgomery County’s business leaders will come together for a day of intensive networking and deal making at The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce Business & Tech Expo 2004 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 18, 2004 at the Holiday Inn Select Bethesda. Directions

The Business & Tech Expo 2004 will allow over 80 businesses from the Bethesda Chevy-Chase area to exhibit their products and services to an expected crowd of more than 1,000 business decision-makers. This year’s event will include the 2nd Annual Executive Luncheon, held during the Business & Tech Expo from 12:00 to 1:30pm at the Holiday Inn Select Bethesda.

The Business & Tech Expo 2004 is Montgomery County’s largest annual trade show. Admission to the exhibit hall is FREE, and reservations will be required for the Executive Luncheon. Seating will be limited. Parking is available at the Holiday Inn Select Bethesda for $6 the day of the show only. The Holiday Inn Select Bethesda is also accessible by Metro Red Line, Bethesda stop and walking 4˝ blocks north on Wisconsin Avenue.

Executive Luncheon

This year's Executive Luncheon features Susan O'Malley, President of Washington Sports and Entertainment. The first female president of an NBA franchise, O'Malley oversees day-to-day operations of the NBA's Washington Wizards, the WNBA's Washington Mystics, the MCI Center, Entertainment and New Business Development, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Team Operations and the Washington-Baltimore Ticketmaster.

Named to the Sports Business Journal's Top 40 under 40 list of top sports executives three times, O'Malley is a master motivator by nature. She fosters a unique, spirited and results-oriented work environment that has been emulated throughout professional sports. Her motivational methods are hardly a secret, as she has become a popular and often-requested speaker for civic, academic and corporate groups.
