The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer members the chance to work with the Chamber in an Affinity Program. An affinity program is a service designed to help B-CC Chamber members save money on purchasing vital products and services and provide benefit through bottom line savings in the operation of their business. Affinity Partnerships also provide the Chamber a source of non-dues revenue, as a small percentage of revenues derived from this program go to the Chamber.
The two primary affinity programs offered to members of associations and non-profits include:
- Services at discount rates (e.g. phone services, travel, insurance, credit card processing, etc.); and
- Purchasing programs, where numerous members together purchase a product or products at a discounted rate that is much greater than if one were to purchase that product alone (e.g. utilities, office supplies, etc.)
The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce will consider proposals for new Affinity Partners based on the following criteria:
- Product value
- Benefits to the members of The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce
- Benefits to The Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce
- A business plan (must include direct marketing and advertising budget, available administrative support, and revenue projections)
- Proven experience with affinity programs
- Exhibits solid financial and management foundation
